Hotel Engel - Stans

Amiable staff and stunning location very close to the Stanserhorn cable car, everything was spotless. It was recently refurbished, neat and with a fantastic view. No complaints whatsoever, the hotel met the purpose.

This hotel exceeded my expectations for the price. The location was perfect, right in the heart of a beautiful mountain village. We enjoyed waking up to the stunning views from our room with great beds and a fantastic view in the bathroom. The service was excellent and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety including fresh salad.

We were really surprised by the spaciousness and comfort of our room at Engel. The modern design and attention to detail, like the coffee machine and plug adapter, made our stay even better. The dinner at the hotel was excellent, and we were particularly impressed by the rib-eye. The staff were kind and the location near Luzern and Engelberg was ideal. Despite a few minor inconveniences, we would definitely recommend this hotel for its quality and friendly atmosphere. a great stay!

for our honeymoon trip back to stans, we decided to stay at engel again and it was even better than before! the location near the train station was so convenient and the staff was friendly and helpful. the rooms were clean and well-equipped, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. highly recommend!

The air conditioning didn't work, and neither were there fans provided, making the experience pretty uncomfortable for me, especially during the summer nights. The walls were very thin, and I could hear absolutely every single thing happening in surrounding rooms, which made it quite challenging to concentrate on work-related tasks.
